"No, but really, who knows? What do I do with all this information about you, miss?" he asked and gave her an odd look.

"Look. I’m trying to help you. You don’t need to tell me if you don’t want to. I was just asking. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable", the albino murmured. "It’s just, easier to get along if we know each other better, right? I mean, unpleasant surprises are always… unpleasant."

The little girl nodded, calming down. The weird shark-man-thing had a point, he did seem like he was trying to help her, but something about him did seem a little bit… fishy.

"Can’t you tell me stuff about you then?" Luna asked, attempting to turn tables in the conversation. "The only things you’ve told me is that your name is Sal and you’re a shark that can turn into a humanoid thing. Where did you come from and why are you here? Don’t you have better things to do?"

"I don’t think there are such things as happy endings in this world. You know, if you don’t stop stealing like that, and talking to creepy sharkmen, you won’t get your happy end either. Maybe you’ll get caught by the police or eaten by a shark, maybe you’ll have to hide and stave to death. How’s that sound?"

Maybe he was being too cold. Maybe he was… trying to make the girl feel bad for the stealing. But the part where she told him about her parents. “What exactly happened to them?” He wanted to know more about her situation to be able to truly help her. This time he was actually interested in helping her, and that, if something, was rare.

"That doesn’t sound very good at all." she whimpered. "I don’t want that to happen at all!" What he was saying scared her, she didn’t like it at all. Luna had always hoped for a typical fairy tail ending, but she didn’t realize that like he said, endings like that were rare in reality.

"My parents…? I don’t like to talk about it." she said, shifting uncomfortably. The little girl was visibly trying to keep back tears. "I-I don’t like to talk about it at all! W-Why do you wanna know all these things about me anyways? I’ve j-just met you." she whined shakily.

"Don’t you like storybooks then?" the shark asked, leading her to a place they could talk better. "I thought little girls like you loved bedtime stories and such. It’s understandable though, if the sharks are the bad guys, it can be a little scary and dislikeable."

They were now on a dark path between two big buildings, a lot of people wouldn’t see them from there, so the police wouldn’t find them. “So uh, do you want to explain your situation now. And what do you wish me to do about it. We’re safe here, for now.”

I love all kinds of stories! Especially the ones with a happy endings where everyone is safe and happy! Where the villain is vanquished! I want a happy ending like that!” she exclaimed with a burst of energy, but quickly stopped as she realized how loud she was being. “Sorry…”

Luna followed him to the hidden spot and nodded when he asked her if she could tell him what was going on. “Well, my parents are gone. So I had to find someway to find food. I started stealing, and here I am today! Running from the police and talking to sharks that look like humans.” the little girl told, being very vague. “I don’t know what you could do about it, though. Do you have any ideas?”

☏ What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

Hmm, probably the fact that I really don’t have any icons for her. I would draw some of my own, but my track pad drawing skills are (farting noise) and I don’t have any money to commission anyone to make icons.

Sometimes the childish aspect of her is hard to pin down because I’m used to using words like “over-hyped” but you really wouldn’t hear a ten-year-old-who-doesn’t-go-to-school say that would you?

"Of course you haven’t. We rarelu visit places not near the oceans or seas. Even if we can turn into human we still can’t deny the fact that we are, indeed, fish or other mammals from the sea. It just means the sea is our home."

"But then again I bet you don’t know that some of us can be very… dangerous. Have you ever heard of some fish being like that?" Sal asked as he started walking again after heard the girl was getting nervous having all the polices around her.

The little girl followed behind him, keeping a firm grip on his hand. It was evident Luna was shaken up by something that had happened shortly before she had encountered him.

"Well, yeah. I’ve heard of dangerous sea creatures. Sharks and jellyfish are some of the ones that people freak out about. Mostly sharks. You don’t seem that dangerous, though." she replied. "It’s cool though, I’ve never heard of sea creatures becoming humans and walking on land. It seems like something out of a storybook."
